Register innvaphone SIP subscribers in the CloudSBC portal

In this article, we show you how to register SIP subscribers who you previously created in your innovaphone phone system in the CloudSBC portal and link them to their corresponding Microsoft Teams account.

In the Microsoft Teams menu of the CloudSBC portal, click the tenant for your company.

Search for a Microsoft user you want to link and click on the settings icon.

In the Zugewiesene Telefonnummer text box, enter the phone number in international format (E.164 phone number) and confirm with Speichern.

This number will be visible for the user in the Microsoft Teams app.

Switch to the Sprachgateways menu and open innovaphone PBX.

Here you will find a list of all innovaphone SIP subscribers with a Hardware ID in the format “Teams_xxxxxx” (I don’t see any SIP subscribers). Add a new subscriber with the plus-symbol …

… and complete the form by selecting your Microsoft tenant and the Teams E.164 phone number. This phone number is the link between the Microsoft Teams account and the innovaphone SIP subscriber – and must be entered in exactly the same format as you did here.

After you have saved these settings, the SIP subscriber will now be shown as successfully connected – and can now make calls via their Microsoft Teams client.
